Brandywine Valley

Summer is quickly approaching, and many people are looking for fun and exciting places to spend their vacation. Some folks may enjoy the thrill of amusement parks such as Six Flags or Disney World while others might like checking out the bustling cities of San Francisco or Boston.

If you’re looking for something different that’s slightly off the beaten path, look no further than the quaint and charming—yet vivid and diverse—corner of Pennsylvania countryside where you’ll find Chester County’s Brandywine Valley.

About the Valley

About the ValleyFor those unfamiliar with this stunning territory, the Brandywine River cuts through southeastern Pennsylvania and winds up in Delaware, slicing through the ever-rolling hills and valleys of the area, giving this landmark its extravagant beauty.

The first settlers discovered this location during the early parts of the 17th century. History has been made here time and time again. This is where the Battle of Brandywine took place and where the Du Pont family began to make a name for itself.

In 1967, due to a conservatory act, Brandywine Valley was shaped into the jewel it is now, and both locals and travelers alike can revel in its natural, sophisticated elegance that has been preserved for decades.

Shopping and Dining

Shopping and DiningAs you find yourself strolling through Brandywine Valley, you will notice that this place checks all the boxes for a warm, cozy getaway. You’ll appreciate the cobblestone streets, locally-owned establishments, the lush green view of the country, and that’s just the beginning.

West Chester is another location that you won’t want to miss during your stay. This area has won both hearts and awards for its distinct mix of historical significance, exotic nightlife scene, and the impressive claim that they have had many new, locally owned businesses pop up over the last quarter-century.
