The ground-breaking EV6 crossover is back this year with a new look, increased range, and updated tech. Eco-friendly and fun to drive, the 2025 Kia EV6 gives drivers everything they want in one vehicle, including plenty of cutting-edge features.
4 Innovative Features of the 2025 Kia EV6
1. Fast Charge Compatibility
The EV6 offers new, larger Lithium-Ion batteries this year, so you can travel up to 319 miles on a full charge. With a Level 2 charger at home, the Light’s 63.0 kWh battery recharges from 10 to 100 percent in under 6 hours, while the other four trim levels have an 84.0 kWh battery that recharges in less than 7.5 hours.
When you’re on the road, however, you can recharge your EV6 even faster with a 350 kW Level 3 charger. These commercial chargers can restore your battery and range from 10 to 80 percent in around 20 minutes.
2. Highway Driving Assist
Every EV6 comes with advanced driver assistance technologies, like the incredibly convenient Highway Driving Assist. This system uses a camera, sensors, and navigation data to detect your surroundings, then it automatically adjusts your steering and speed to keep you centered in your lane and at a safe following distance from the vehicle ahead. Wind, GT-Line, and GT trims come with Highway Driving Assist 2, which can even assist with lane changes.
3. Kia Connect
Included at no extra cost for 3 years, Kia Connect keeps you connected to your EV6 from nearly anywhere. Using the Kia Access App on your phone, you can remotely start or stop charging your vehicle, set the temperature inside the cabin, or turn on the available ventilated seats. This service also provides added peace of mind, with smartphone notifications when your EV6’s alarm goes off and automatic 911 dialing if an airbag deploys.
4. A Powertrain for Every Lifestyle
With its five trims, the EV6 offers four powertrains to suit drivers of all kinds. The entry-level Light trim is also the most efficient model, with a permanent magnet AC synchronous motor that produces 167 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque and averages a manufacturer-estimated 115 MPGe combined.
The Light Long Range, Wind, and GT-Line trims each offer a choice of two powertrains. The rear-wheel drive models create 225 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. When you add all-wheel drive to these trims, you’ll have an impressive 320 horsepower and 446 lb.-ft. of torque at your command. Driving enthusiasts will want to choose the all-wheel drive GT, which makes up to 641 horsepower and 586 lb.-ft. of torque.
With the EV6, you can enjoy powerful performance and plenty of range while you reduce your carbon footprint. To learn more about this electric crossover and its exciting features, visit us at Kia of West Chester in West Chester, PA.
