Design

The exterior’s sleek, futuristic lines and 19-inch alloy wheels are just some of the elements making the 2024 EV6 stand out among its peers. However, all the highly desirable standard features found even in the base model put the line in a class of its own. Conveniences such as high-beam assist, power-folding heated mirrors with turn signals, rain-sensing wipers, and more are all included at no extra cost. Sound-absorbing glass helps the cabin remain quiet even at higher speeds.

A dual-zone climate control system allows everyone to choose their preferred temperatures, and standard luxuries such as heated front seats offer extra comfort. However, drivers are even more pampered by an 8-way power-adjustable seat with 2-way power lumbar support plus integrated memory for both the seat and side-view mirror.

Performance

The lowest Light trim comes with a 58.0kWh battery that delivers 167 hp and 158 lb-ft of torque. It has ultra-fast DC charging capability and the fully-electric driving range is 232 miles. The 2024 EV6 offers four driving styles from which you can choose: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Snow.

Although rear-wheel drive is standard on the EV6, 4-wheel drive is also available. Push button start, steering wheel-mounted paddles, and a Smart Key remote are also standard.

Technology

The lowest 2024 EV6 trim comes with a 6-speaker audio system offering AM/FM stereo and SiriusXM satellite radio. A 12.3-inch touchscreen display is the centerpiece of an infotainment system that includes Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and a WiFi hotspot with a subscription. There are steering wheel-mounted controls for hands-free calling, audio, cruise control, and drive mode selection.

Kia also has a smart connectivity system that can integrate with compatible smart speakers, smartphones, and smartwatches. You can even pre-heat and pre-cool your vehicle before entering it with the Kia Access app. The front console holds a USB data port and two USB charging ports. Two USB charging ports are in the second row, as well.

Safety

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gave the 2024 EV6 a perfect 5-star overall safety rating. Kia has also equipped the entire line with valuable standard driver’s aid and safety features, such as:
