Upgraded Performance

Fitted with a new, more powerful 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine, the K5 LXS, GT-Line, and EX trims deliver up to 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque. The GT trim delivers up to 290 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque with a turbocharged engine and multi-port injection fuel delivery system.

The GT trim also has an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission that delivers sharp shifts for maximum power delivery. The GT-line has an all-wheel drive configuration while all the other trims are front wheel drive with MacPherson strut front suspension and independent mutli-link rear suspensions.

Spacious Interior 

Stepping inside a Kia K5 means a lot of leg room with the 105.3 cubic feet of passenger interior volume and five passenger seating capacity. The total cargo volume is 15.6 cubic feet and the total interior volume is 121.3 cubic feet. You’ll find cloth seats in the LXS and SynTex seats in the other trims.

The interior LAOfeatures 6-way manual driver’s and passenger seats in the LXS or heated, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 2-way power lumbar adjustment in the GT-Line, GT, and EX trims. The EX trim also comes standard with ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel.

Refreshed Exterior

The styling of the exterior was refreshed with updated lights, hyper silver front grille, and fascia. The GT-Line and GT models also feature a more aggressive front and rear design with gloss black accents and unique wheels. The LXS trim has 16-inch alloy wheels, the GT-Line and EX trims have 18-inch wheels, and the GT trim has 19-inch wheels.

Standard colors available are Aurora Black Pearl, Interstellar Gray, Snow White Pearl, and Runway Red. The GT-Line and GT trims also have Wolf Gray, Steel Matte Gray, and Yacht Blue.

Advanced Driver Assistance Technologies

The Kia K5 comes with a comprehensive suite of driver assistance technologies to make the drive easier and safer. For example, there’s the bling-spot collision-avoidance assist that gives an audible and visual warning of objects in the blind spot when the turn signal is indicated. Other technologies include:
