Bold, capable, and comfortable, the 2025 Kia Sorento is a family-friendly SUV with seating for up to seven.

1. LX
The LX starts off the Sorento lineup with seating for seven across three rows, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a smart key for easy entry. It’s powered by a 2.5-liter engine that generates 191 horsepower and tows up to 2,000 pounds. With its 8-speed automatic transmission, it averages an EPA-estimated 26 MPG combined.
Impressive tech features come standard on the LX, like five USB ports, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen. Its tech also includes a long list of safety features, like its safe exit warning.
2. S
The S, which builds on LX features, is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Choosing all-wheel drive increases ground clearance to 8.2 inches and produces fuel efficiency of 25 MPG combined. Standard S features include 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels, plus roof rails for added carrying capacity.
Inside, the S keeps you connected with seven USB ports and a wireless phone charger. Its cabin features SynTex seat trim, heated front seats, and dual-zone auto climate control. It also includes a navigation system and navigation-based Smart Cruise Control, which can automatically maintain a safe following distance on the highway.
3. EX
The six-passenger EX includes S features and is available with all-wheel drive when you choose the X-Line package. Under the hood, it has a turbocharged 2.5-liter engine that makes 281 horsepower, tows up to 3,500 pounds, and averages 23 MPG combined.
The EX also adds 20-inch gloss black alloy wheels, a power passenger seat, and a Smart Power Liftgate that opens hands-free. Upgrading to the X-Line package gets you X-Line body styling, high-utility roof rails, and a panoramic sunroof that provides a view of the sky to front and rear passengers.
4. SX
Premium tech and comfort features come standard on the SX, including ventilated front seats, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a 12.3-inch curved instrument display. It also includes the EX’s standard features, plus the X-Line EX’s panoramic sunroof.
Advanced driver assistance features are included with the SX as well, like the Blind-Spot View Monitor that shows a live view of your blind spot when you signal a lane change.
5. SX Prestige
Available with a standard X-Line or available X-Pro package, the SX Prestige is both capable and luxurious. It comes with a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, perforated leather seat trim, and heated second-row seats. It also includes X-Line SX features, plus extra driver assistance features.
