Basic Warranty

Warranty protection applies for the first five years or 60,000 miles, whichever happens first. Certain situations and events are not covered by warranty, including damage due to the use of unauthorized parts, damage caused by lack of required maintenance, or accidental damage.

Powertrain Warranty

The powertrain warranty covers your vehicle’s most complex and expensive systems. It includes the engine, transmission, and drivetrain. All the components in these systems, except those specifically excluded in your warranty booklet, are protected against potential defects. This protection applies for the first ten years or 120,000 miles.

Paint Protection

Original Equipment Battery Warranty

Most automobile warranties only protect a battery for one year, but your Kia has extended protection against any issue for three years or 36,000 miles.

Audio/Entertainment System Warranty

All your original audio and entertainment systems, including the radio, CD player, and navigation, are protected against any defect for three years or 36,000 miles.

Anti Perforation Warranty

Perforation is rust or corrosion that penetrates any metal and forms a hole from one side of the metal to the other. Your Kia is protected against rust and corrosion due to special protective coatings applied during the manufacturing process. If perforation appears on your Kia, the affected panel will be replaced at no cost.

Adjustment Coverage

Adjustments are defined as any alternation to your vehicle’s systems that doesn’t require replacement parts. This category includes the car belts, levers, pedals, and cables. Any necessary adjustments will be made at no cost for the first year or 12,000 miles.
