The 2025 Kia Niro Hybrid: Uncompromising Efficiency
Under the Niro Hybrid’s Hood
The Niro’s 1.6-liter engine features four cylinders and a DOHC 16-valve valvetrain. With continuously variable valve timing, a MacPherson strut front suspension with gas shock absorbers, and an independent multi-link rear suspension with a stabilizer bar, the 2025 Niro Hybrid is designed for confident handling, a smooth ride, and versatile performance. This year’s Niro Hybrid lineup offers 139 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
The LX, EX, and SX trims achieve 54 MPG on the highway, while the EX Touring and SX Touring reach 45 MPG. Each Niro model this year comes with front-wheel drive, a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, and Drive Mode Select, featuring both Eco and Sport modes.
Inside the Niro’s Cozy Cabin
The base-model Niro Hybrid LX comes with a 60/40 split-folding rear bench, a hidden floor compartment in the cargo area, interior welcome lighting, and privacy glass on the rear windows. A heated windshield comes standard, along with sound-absorbing front windshield glass and solar-control glass on the front windows.
Higher trims add a heated steering wheel, a sunroof with a power-activated sunshade, and ambient accent lighting. Depending on the trim you choose, your Kia Niro Hybrid will come with woven-cloth, SynTex/cloth, or perforated SynTex upholstery.
Exterior Convenience Features
The Niro Hybrid’s projector-beam headlights come equipped with automatic headlight control and High Beam Assist, autonomously activating your headlights at dusk and only engaging the high beams when the road is clear. The base model’s exterior side-view mirrors are power-adjustable with heating functions, and higher trims add power-folding capabilities and integrated LED turn signals.
